What is a missional community?

A missional community is a close-knit group of people, similar to an extended family, brought together by their shared Christian faith and commitment to serving and sharing their beliefs in a specific neighborhood or social network. The primary purpose of a missional community is to make disciples of Jesus within these local networks, emphasizing flexibility and independence from traditional church structures. Described as “small enough to care but large enough to dare,” missional communities focus on genuine connections and outreach, not relying on typical church buildings or services.
